"seek truth." That's the new slogan for truth, a media campaign designed by the American Legacy Foundation in Washington, D.C. in an attempt to lower tobacco initiation rates for youth ages 12-18.
The American Legacy Foundation is an organization that I've worked for/with for the past three years. Our mission is to build a world where young people reject tobacco and anyone can quit.
I've been involved in the tobacco control community since I was 12 (gosh, that's way too long) and I tell people it's one of the most rewarding things in my life. Hockey and non-profit work. Yea, I don't know. I'm weird.

That's all for today, stick around...

I don't know how you got started, but Wow! Whoever introduced you to this "activism" stuff sure knew you well. S/he must have reallly liked you and saw something special in you. And the fact that you've taken it upon yourself to continue your selflessness is really just a reflection of that beautiful woman--uh, person--who got you started. You should really thank her. (again)
